Develop your Pre-talk

Homework: 

  • Develop a structure and sequence for your own pre-talk.
  • Create a template for what points you will develop.
  • Add any analogies, metaphors or aids you will use.
  • Find a simple, direct way to teach your client about the subconscious and what to expect in hypnosis.

GOAL of the Pre-talk:

  • Build Rapport, Expectation and Belief (the client should be excited about what they can accomplish).
  • Handle skepticism and objections proactively, dispelling the myths about hypnosis.
  • Define the roles of the Conscious and Subconscious minds.
  • Explain what occurs in a hypnotic state and how it facilitates positive, beneficial change.
  • Make it simple and easy to comprehend. Use a story or metaphor if you like.
  • What do YOU want to convey in your pre-talk?
