What does it
mean to “Surrender?”
Surrender is at the heart of all great spiritual practices and the experience of complete surrender has profound impact on the spirit. Note these ancient poetic sayings of the Tao Te Ching and their universal truth:
“Look for it, and it cannot be seen.
Listen for it, and it cannot be heard.
Grasp for it, and it cannot be taught…”
“If you can empty your mind of all thoughts, your heart will embrace the tranquility of peace…”
“The supreme good is like water, which benefits all of creation, without trying to compete with it.”
CHAKRA BALANCING SERIES
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara)
The Root Chakra represents our strong foundation. It controls and relates to basic feelings of safety, security, food and financial independence, as well as body integrity and grounding. Its shadow aspect is fear. When this Chakra is blocked, we feel threatened and unstable.

2. Sacral Chakra (Swadhisthana)
The Sacral Chakra relates to sexuality and emotions. As an adult, it often manifests as intimate relationships. Its shadow aspect is guilt. The Sacral Chakra informs how we relate to our emotions and those of others. It governs creativity and sexual energy and controls your sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure and sexuality. A blocked Chakra will result in lack of control in our lives.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)
The Solar Plexus Chakra, or Manipuri in Sanskrit, translates to, "city of jewels." It is located in the upper belly above the diaphragm. It acts as the center of personal power. This chakra governs personality,ego and identity, as well as personal freedom, choice and authenticity.

4. Heart Chakra (Anahata)
The Heart Chakra is a bridge between the lower Chakras (materiality) and the upper Chakras (spirituality). It influences our ability to give and receive love and enjoy healthy relationships. It is associated with the ability to feel compassion, empathy and self-acceptance.

5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)
The Throat Chakra is associated with the ability to communicate our personal power and truth, and with creative identity. When this Chakra is open, we experience vibrational congruence and self-actualization. Its shadow aspect is lies and the inability to listen.

6. Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna)
The Third Eye is associated with intuition and imagination. It is the eye of the soul, open to visions and intuitive information. This Chakra brings one closer to communication with the divine. Its shadow aspect is illusion.
The 3rd chakra is held to be the center of intuition, vision, prophecy, imagination, inner knowing, and self-assurance. The energetic function of Ajna chakra (third eye) is to help us learn to know ourselves emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
The third eye chakra is vital to balancing the higher and lower selves, trusting inner guidance, and to access intuition. Emotionally, it deals with clarity on an intuitive level.

Love in its purest form has the power to change us, to transform us at the core of our being. In letting go of our elaborate strategies for success, our deliberate and carefully thought out plans, and our clinging to what “must be,” we find spiritual freedom and our source of internal power. The paradox is that we do still plan and create our lives, and yet feel fluid and accepting of impinging “reality.”
Connect To Your Higher Power
Some people have a very strong identification with their Higher Power, rooted within their personal belief system.
Others believe there is an undefined “something” higher and greater than themselves, but have only the vaguest notion of what a “Higher Power” might be. Accessing the Akashic Records
The Akashic Records are a cosmic repository of endless file cabinets in infinite hallways and stacks; records that exist in time and space like an ancient galactic internet. However you choose to imagine or picture the Akashic Records, the reality of the true substance of wisdom you connect with is truth.
Carl Jung referred to the "collective unconscious." Tibetan monks refer to this space as records to be found in the “akasha,” or “ether,” a reference to the space element in eastern five-element systems.
